My name is Wah Ja. It means one dollar. I moved to the U.S two years ago. Me and my family moved together to the U.S. I have one brother and two sisters. My brother moved together with me but my sisters stayed in my country. My brother name is Mou Doh, he is in middle school right now. I like my life in the US. I attend the school right now. When I live my country, I didn't have time to go to school. My sisters, my uncle, and my friends stayed in my country because they didn't want to move.
I moved to the U.S because I thought my country was not a good country. That time, the Burmese people came to my country. They wanted to take my country. They were mean. They killed my people with a gun. I want a better future. America is huge. My country was so small and the schools in my country were made by bamboo and so primitive. I felt more safe here, in America. There will be no one would kill me with their gun. American people helped my people a lot. I like them. I want to back to my country as an army and be the person who could change my country to be more safe for my people.
